Check a suspected deepfake image
SUREvAI reviews still images for synthetic or altered-image signals. It is a preliminary check, especially when a face may have been swapped or retouched.
What the tool covers
The same image checker can flag AI-generated and some AI-altered images. It does not authenticate a person's identity, recognize a face, or analyze video motion or audio.
Why face edits are difficult
A small replacement within a large photograph can occupy very few pixels. Low resolution, filters, motion blur, and social-media compression can further hide local artifacts.
A Real result does not clear a disputed portrait; a Fake result does not establish who performed the edit.
Verify the context
Look for the original publication, corroborating footage, a verified source, and consistent event context. Do not accuse a person solely from an automated result.
